Diabetes: Out of control sugars can lead to coma, death, amputation of extremities, kidney disease and failure, heart attack, congestive heart failure, severely swollen lower extremities and thus damage to the structure of the legs. It can lead to chronic dehydration which can lead to brain damage, headaches, skin diseases. I think it is obvious that not treating diabetes is an insane proposition.
