Prolactin: Is a pituitary hormone that prepares the breast for nursing an infant. It can be increased in some pituitary tumors, some medications, hypothyroidism not on sufficient replacement, breast stimulation, other causes. Can't tell you the significance since i don't know your result. Check w/your doctor.
