Synthroid (thyroxine): Your body turns T4 (synthroid) into t3 (liothyronine). As long as your thyroid function tests are fine, there is nothin to worry about.

Converted from T4: The body has enzymes that convert the T4 to t3 (liothyronine). T3 (liothyronine) is the actual workhorse of the thyroid hormones and there is less of it in the body.
