Common problem: Rotator cuff problems are very common and their incidence increases with age. Rotator cuff problems can come from an injury or more commonly overuse. The initial first line treatment is nsaids x 1wk, ice and rotator cuff exercises.

Diagnosis?: Although most rotator cuff tears are not the result of an acute injury, many other causes of shoulder pain are also assumed to be rotator cuff problems.
