In-office visit: It's a complex picture. You need to see a doctor in person who can evaluate the source of the pain. Even more important is to get into an appropriate rehabilitation program to teach your body to function again. You should call RIC (Rehab institute of Chicago) and make an appointment with a physiatrist who works with chronic pain
