Parotid Cyst: Most of the time a parotid cyst is benign. It is currently estimated that 80% of masses, tumors or cysts that occur in the parotid are benign, while 20% are cancerous. While the odds are certainly in your favor, best to have it evaluated to make sure it isn't something that is going to need surgery or other treatments.
