Sunflower seed size: In relation to your gland itself - the median volume of parotid is about 25, 262 mm3 and a size averaging 3.4 cm in the ventral-dorsal dimension and 5.8 cm in the craniocaudal dimension. Was this an incidental finding on a radiograph, do you have any symptoms, and have you been evaluated by and oral and maxillofacial surgeon or ENT yet?
