Ear pain: Ear pain can be challenging, particularly when your ear looks normal. I see this quite frequently and usually the pain is coming from a nearby structure. One if the most common is the jaw joint. The jaw joint and the ear canal actually share a bone. Other things can feel like ear pain, too. A sore throat or even a problem with the thyroid or the voice box. You need an ENT to check it out.
