Increasing Anger: Violence among teenagers and youth seems to be on the rise. Several factors may explain this rise, including poor problem solving, limited social skill, mood dysregulation (anger, irritability, sadness), substance use, and lack of empathy. An early history of physical aggression and delinquency are also known risk factors in the prediction of violence.
