You should help : Your mom see her physician and follow instructions in order to her get her BP and blood sugar under control. That will be much more help to her than trying to find foods she can eat via the internet.

Optimal diet: Low salt, low fat, minimal bread, no sugar. Feed her soft veggies and pasta. For protein, egg whites and white fish. For fruit, peach, apple sauce, tomato, kiwi, plum. For grain, oatmeal.,

Wrong approach: Why not try to restore the teeth and make her comfortable? Decaying teeth will soon be unrestorable, necessitating extractions and dentures. That will make her more uncomfortable. See a local dentist and find out what can be done.

Decayed Teeth: I would encourage you to address your mother's decayed teeth, especially in light of her diabetes. The combination of decayed teeth and elevated sugars is a potential risk of infection. The combination of malnutrition and low sugars is equally problematic. Probably better to restore her ability to chew and eat an appropriate diet.

2 separate problems: 1. High BP see a primary care physician for evaluation, tests and treatment. 2. Dental decay, see a dentist. Most of the dental problems can easily be taken care of by a dentist. Call your dentist for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.
