Could be a pit: Cavity or a stain in the groove of the tooth. Best to be evaluated by your dentist. Hope this helps.

See: Visit your dentist....Imposible to speculate wilthout seeing. Probably because it does not bother you it is of no consequence. Maybe was always there & now looking in that area of your mouth you saw something that made you curious. See your dentist for advice.
