Muscle tone: "retroverted uterus" causing back pain in young teenager possibly speculation; theory of this causation likely never proven. Painful menses occurs in women with joint hypermobility syndrome; manifest as ability to touch thumb to forearm, hyperextended elbow, & touch floor with palms while knees locked. Muscle tone throughout body diminishes ligament pain of loose joints. Yoga is efficacious.

Doubt it: Very unlikely that retroverted uterus in 13-y-o be responsible for bad low back pain. Suggest you consult pediatric orthopedist. Anatomic musculo-skeletal abnormality should be ruled out. Physical therapy & exercise could then take care of it. Obresity might also be a factor which could also be problematic with both activities & mood. Latter might require counseling.
