A member asked:

Is it normal for the 2 months old to pass mucous with stool.no other symptoms.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mucous in stool: Mucous present in the stool of a formula fed infant can be a sign of malabsorption or formula intolerance. Mucous can also be present with a healing fissure (tiny tears in the anus).
