Yes, It Can: Cheese and dairy products can be constipating, especially if the rest of the diet is limited. Eat foods high in fiber, like fruits, vegetables, bran, and whole-wheat items. Drink lots of water. Exercise will help prevent constipation.

Dairy: Dairy, bananas and seeds can be constipating and should be eaten in moderation with plenty of fluids and fiber in the diet as well.
