That depends: Possibly. There are generalized treatments that would be likely to benefit the person. However, to treat any specific breathing conditions - the condition needs to be identified through standard medical means or traditional chinese medicine to determine if it is a condition that responds to acupuncture. One would not use moxa or flame cupping with use of o2 - but all other acupuncture is safe.
