Help him: It sounds like he has fairly advanced lung disease, and this can because by numerous conditions. The best thing you can do is support your grandfather, help him do what his doctor tells him to do, and make sure he has help at home if needed. Sometimes, there's just nothing we can do but provide comfort and our own presence.
