What makes a soft tissue injury to ankle better?

Ankles need rest: If you have an injury to the ankle, it will need to get enough rest in order to heal. If there is continuous strain in the area, the soft tissue inflammation may not subside. If it is getting better, than it may need to be stablized via brace, anklet, etc..., physical therapy is also an amazing way to speed up the healing process.

Depends on: How much damage has occurred but use rest, ice, compression and elevation and some nsaids . Minimal damage should take around 3 weeks much longer for more severe sprains.

Ice.: Ice the area for 20 minutes at a time, 4-5 time per day. Take an anti-inflammatory medication, and begin physical therapy.
