What to do: One of the first things you can do is to go online or read books about schizophrenia. The better educated you are about the condition - the better you can cope & help the other person to cope. If you are a relative or care giver, ask to meet with the person's psychiatrist or counselor to be given pointers on good ways to interact. Try to be supportive, patient & non-judgmental. Take care.
