Never: Your effort is to work with a dietitian to understand a correct diet for you.This would focus on having the right amount of slow release carbs in your diet that can be converted to sustain a normal blood sugar. Quick release sugars would only be needed for a rescue if your BS drops. If you take in more calories, you just get overweight, which makes figuring out how to eat more difficult.
