Testing: The only accurate way to determine hypoglycemia is to test the blood glucose. While not as accurate as a laboratory blood test, the glucometer device that diabetics use should be reasonably accurate. The symptoms can be from hypoglycemia or other, so they are not enough to make the diagnosis.

Possibly low sugar: Its certainly possibly that someone who is light-headed and weak is having a hypoglycemia episode! of the meds listed, none of them commonly cause low blood sugar - most hypoglycemic episodes are caused by medicines used to treat diabetes. If you feel these symptoms, try sitting and drinking juice; if it goes away, probably hypoglycemia. To know definitely, do a fingerstick glucose test!
