A member asked:

Could a part of your missing calf muscle be replaced with cadaver muscle? would you be able to walk again?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Surgery consult: Muscle and nerves can regenerate but it all dependes on the extent of the damage and distortion of the leg anatomy. Muscle tissue like any other has antigens that would be rejected if grafted without prolonged immunosuppression unless the muscle came from another area of your body.
