Many things possible: They may dress wounds, splint possible broken bones, start IV to give fluids and medications, administer oxygen, monitor the patient + vital signs + check ekg. They can communicate with the receiving hospital so they can prepare for the patient's arrival. All depends on the needs of the patient.
