When someone suffers a stroke and someone calls an ambulance, what will the paramedics do?

What happens w strok: When the paramedics arrive, they will take the vital signs, check the blood glucose, obtain a brief history, get a list of medications, and make sure the patient can be safely transported to the nearest emergency room. Sometimes they will supply oxygen or blood pressure treatment, but usually these are not needed.

Keep patient safe: They will perform and document an assessment, try to determine time symptoms started. Check patient's sugar and vital signs, usually provide oxygen. Transport to ER. Some more remote areas, they can communicate with ER Dr and may give other medicines.
