Treatment: Toothache can be result of different reasons, you need to see a dentist to find out what causing the pain. Generally in medicine prevention is the key, a two to three times a year checkups usually find problems before we are in pain which make it easer and less expensive to solve many dental problems.

Multiple causes....: Toothaches come from many forms, and the specific cause of yours will need to be determined prior to recommending a remedy. Seek the evaluation of a dentist. Until then, 600 mg of Ibuprofen every 6 hrs can help. You can also add 750 mg tylenol (acetaminophen) every 6 hrs.

Find a dentist: A dentist is a professional who is trained to eliminate a toothache. In most cases, the cause of a toothache is a deep cavity that has caused an irreversible pulp condition (the pulp contains the nerve and blood supply of the tooth). The dentist eliminates the pain by removing the cavity and performing a root canal, which eliminates the source of the pain, the pulp.
