Get treatment ASAP: An abcessed tooth is an infection. It is important to get infections treated quickly. An untreated infection can progress and get more painful, more swelling, and spread thru the rest of your body. An untreated infections can cause very serious infections and serious medical problems. Don't wait. Get to a dentist.

Establish drainage: When we don't have money, god will help us... By this i meant abscessed is only painful and rapidly damage if it cannot be drained. Many times, drainage established with a gum boil or fistula, self grow on the gum surface, on the buccal or lingual gum surface around the abscess tooth. When drainage occur, the tooth usually is not painful. The abscess or bone damage would be very slow (2-4yrs).
