There is hope: You made a tough choice, but it was the best you could do. When you think about these thoughts and they get you down, try and remember that you could only do your best and at that time, you did your best, even if now you have regret. If you are spiritual, seek spiritual guidance. Otherwise, seek counseling.

Trust yourself: I don't believe anyone outside of yourself can tell you it's a right or wrong decision. If you are comfortable sharing your feelings with spouse, partner, trusted friends, family, clergy - whoever you trust and feel close to - can help. In the end the only human's opinion that matters is your own. The important medical facts are that abortion is legal and safe.

Post-Abortion: The decision to have an abortion can be tough and it can be nice to have someone to talk to or support you during this time. Be open to friends/family about it b/c it's common; 1 in 3 women will have an abortion in their lifetime. If you need professional help, look to Backline and Exhale for unbiased advice (Google them). Life's circumstances can cause depression, but abortion itself DOES not.
