Herpes simplex: It would be surprising to see many people negative for herpes serology in this day and age. If it is, great. But even if it were positive that is no guarantee that you will ever get active lesions. Despite their absence, however, if you do have herpes in your body you may excrete the virus and infect others. Good luck. This is complicated.
