Wrist pain: The scaphoid and trapezium are often involved together as part of basal joint/thumb osteoarthritis, but not typically in a 27 year old. One would certainly have to consider some sort of trauma, and traumatic conditions involving the scaphoid can be serious so best to have it evaluated by a hand doctor. Good luck.
