Weight loss surgery: Weight loss surgery is not giving up. The long term success of a diet and exercise plan alone in a patient over 100 lbs their ideal body weight, is less than 5%. That compares with a success rate of over 90% with weight loss surgery. Weight loss surgery is painful, often permanent, a complete life change forever in about a 1-3 hour procedure. It is definitely not the easy way to loose weight.

Absolutely not!!!!!: Why would you ask this? Losing weight is very hard. It is definitely very hard to lose weight. Some people have a more difficult time than others. Even though undergoing weight loss surgery is a very big step, it is not GIVING UP. If you feel this way, you should not have the surgery.
