Research: Internet lists places in texas & harvard studying this going bsck 3 years. Who knows where research my go? Who knows what the costs would be, who would be able to afford it, who pays for it, do you have to get the stem cells from each patient first, is it any better than what is being done now, etc, etc? Would likely be decades of research.

Not yet: While there may be some experimental studies doing this, it doesn't seem like its worth the time and effort currently. Seen to be better to fix a hernia with a prosthetic that is more durable, then you wouldn't have to worry about it. Hope this helps.
