?possible: Mesh, by definition is usually designed NOT to move as it gets "intertwined into the surrounding tissues, etc. BUT, that being said, any pains post surgically should be evaluated by the Surgeon,..as some may be related and need investigation and/or some pains may be part of the normal healing process and just need time. best wishes.

Hard to know : Pain after hernia repair can be difficult to sort out in terms of the cause. If there was before the repair or not, location, aggravating and alleviating factors, and severity all play a role in making the diagnosis and formulating a treatment plan. Best to see your surgeon to find out more. Best of luck. Hope this helps!

Pain After Hernia: Mesh movement or migration after laparoscopic hernia repair is a rare cause of pain after surgery. Other, more common causes include hernia recurrence, nerve injury, etc. It's best to follow up with your surgeon.

Laparoscopic hernia : Pain after a laparoscopic hernia repair can be from several things. Also depends on if you had an inguinal hernia repair or ventral/abdominal/incisional hernia repair. The mesh can move a bit as the scar tissue contracts and this may cause some pain, but it doesn't mean the hernia has recurred. You should go see your surgeon and have them examine you.
