KUB: If your stones are visible on a kub x-ray, this is the easiest most accurate way to follow the course of the stones as they hopefully pass after lithotripsy. Some stones do not show up on kub well, however ultrasound evaluation for specific location of stones can be a bit nebulous at times. Your treating urologist will certainly have recommendations for what study is best for you.
