I have a rather large kidney stone and it definitely wont pass. also i have no insurance. are there any alternatives to lithotripsy to break up the stone? possibly a shockwave pain therapy ultrasound machine?

Stones: Kidney stones less than 4mm pass 90% of the time, 4to6 mm 50%, and greater than 6 mm 10%. Have you tried Flomax? This will improve passage. If this does not help either lithotripsy is indicated or ureteroscopy with stone removal.
