Sleeve gastrectomy : If you are only one year out from your sleeve gastrectomy, you should not have any kind of revision to a different operation (and you should avoid any surgeon willing to do it). The data shows that sleeves lose weight slower than bypasses, but they catch up and are about equal at 5 years. So you need to give it more time. Make sure you are doing all you can (eat healthy & exercise) too.

Weight loss sleeve: The typical patient with a sleeve gastrectomy looses weight at about 2-3 lbs a week. This is an average over a month. So, depending on your height and weight you could loose 50-100 lbs the first year. There are a variety of other important factors including race, sex, age, metabolic rate, diet and exercise plan. The surgery is only a tool. More than a revision may be a visit with a dietician.
