Big picture: Get with your personal physician. You'll benefit tremendously from reprogramming about eating and lifestyle. Some of your weight is muscle, and when you lose the fat, you're going to be at an advantage. But staying fit is extremely important. Changing your life: Nope. You are only 17 and you are already right on track to give a million excuses? People who lose weight do so by changing their lives. You will be setting yourself up for failure if you think you can nit pick here and there and not really change your life to be living healthier. But, you also need to know that you do not need to go to a gym to exercise. Walking briskly is very effective.
