Obese is no reason t: avoid exercise, but U need a program to fit Ur abilities. varicose veins may enlarge after exercise due to increased blood flow, but will reside with rest. be sure you have talked to Ur PCP or internist B4 starting any exercise program. you also need to evaluate Ur dietary intake, so a dietary consult will help you. remember when you start go slowly. too bad they always show those who don't need 2

Obesity and veins: Obesity and varicose veins is not a contraindication to working out and yoga. In fact, exercise is good for improving venous return which will reduce the venous pressure. Cardio exercises such as spinning, elliptical, biking and stair climbing are better for the veins than pounding exercises such as running.
