Good hearing: It suggests that your ears, acoustic nerves and the area of the brain receiving these impulses are all working exceptionally well. You may be able to minimize the distraction by concentrating more intensely on what you are doing at the moment. The nervous phenomenon of "extinction" will reduce your perception of sounds if your brain is more intensely occupied thinking about something else.
