Rare : To have damage to the les with endoscopy. Local mechanical irritation is possible but resolves shortly. Rupture, etc. Is rare, and a ct scan may provide the answer. Esophageal manometry may be used; even then, hard to say if damage is from endoscopy or egd. A re-look with a scope may be the best alternative depending on the situation.
