Generally: Ideally you should have a bmi between 20-25. Your bmi is well with an acceptable range of 27. However bmi >30 are classified as obese. So if you are planning a pregnancy, keep your weight stable by exercise, healthy eating habits, take Folic Acid 4 mg per day, and minimize alcohol, and no smoking. Healthy babies are gestated in healthy moms. Enjoy.
