Receding gums: There is no way to push the gum back. Receding gums and sensitive teeth sounds like periodontal disease (gum disease), although there are other possibilities. You need to have you mouth examined and evaluated by your dentist and/or a periodontist ( a specialist in gum diseases). The sooner you get this treated, the better the chance that it can be treated without you losing any teeth.

Seek treatment.: Recession of gums results in tooth sensitivity and bone loss. This is usually a sign of periodontal disease. You can't just "push your gums back"! you do need to treat your periodontal disease and should seek treatment as soon as possible. Remember that the bacteria (gram negative anaerobic) associated with periodontal disease usually mixes with your blood and gains access to your entire body!

Won't push up: You won't be able to push the gums back. You may be a candidate for getting it corrected surgically. That is usually done by a periodontist.
