A member asked:

My daughter is 6 how can i get her eyesight checked?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on variables: Many primary care physicians have standardized screening charts to evaluate kids as early as 4 years of age. If the kid can cooperate and recognize shapes or letters, this can give an estimate of visual strength. Some kids will do poorly on such screening and need evaluation by an eye doctor.
