I have varicose veins, only a few and i'm only 20. some tend to bulge some when standing but when i relax my leg there is no bulging. is this normal?

Yes, but seek help: Varicose veins can cause lots of problems and lead to swelling, restless legs, skin discoloration or worse over time. Three times as many people have vein problems as have pad. At your age you may be in for some of these troubles down the road. Support stockings are a start. See your doctor. If they feel this is a bigger problem, most vascular surgeons can help.

Normal for varices: Varicose veins are not "normal, " but if you have varicose veins, they tend to behave this way - bulging after standing and going back down when not standing.
