Nerve pressure: This seems as this is a positional phenomena. When an extremity moves without intent(or your consent) a nerve is giving the orders. When you lie down there are a group of nerves that are to some extent, getting stimulated via pressure. Have you tried changing the position in which you sleep? If this persists or is causing pain, you may want to have this checked out.
