Intestinal gas: The more fiber there is in your diet, the more gas is produced as well as cramping and maybe pain. Although fiber is healthy for you, it takes getting used to the excess bulk. Adding more yogurt may help, like the ones with bifidus regularis and acidophilus. You can ask your gastroenterologist if an anti-yeast or antibiotic may help to control growth of certain pathogens in the gut.
