Try deep breathing: Exercises. Breath in slowly and deeply through your nose. Hold the air in your lungs for a 5 count before exhaling through an open mouth. Repeat x at least 12. Focus on your breathing. Don't let anxious thoughts intrude upon your awareness of your breathing. Make sure the room is quiet. Also, ensure that you are using good sleep hygiene.
