You need to rest it!: The plantar fascia is inflamed and must be reversed. It will not get better from running, but will most likely get worse. The fastest way to treat this is via anti-inflammatories via orally or via cortisone injection, taping with padding and rest. When it is feeling better then you may begin passive stretching exercises.
