See below: Do you mean pmr or polymyalgia rheumatica? It is an autoimmune disease where you elevated levels of inflammation causing proximal muscles aches and occasionally hand pain. I am not aware of any association with agent orange, but sometimes pmr symptoms can be seen in the setting of cancer. Prednisone is used to treat this. I hope that helps.

Inflamed joints: Sounds like this is rheumatoid arthritis. This is an autoimmune disease, where the body makes antibodies against the lining of the joints. There seems to be more than one trigger. The first is a genetic predisposition. The next is either a virus or some other environmental factor. Though not a confirmed cause of this, agent orange cannot be ruled out. Prostate cancer is a less likely cause.
