Lung nodules: The old calcified lung nodules do not concern me. However the new lung nodules are more concerning. Things like infection, rheumatological problems, cancer ( either lung cancer or other type of cancer that spreads to lung) can cause lung nodules. Discuss further with your md . You need further evaluation and biopsy of the lung nodule is likely required ( if possible to be done)-to find what it is.

Possibly: Are these nodules on chest x ray? I would suggest follow up with a pulmonary specialist with a ct scan to evaluate these new ? Lesions; the fact that there were calcified lesions 6 yrs ago suggest a more indolent process, however new lesions on recent scans? Raise concern. Please do follow up with a specialist.
