Likely not: It is difficult to tell if there is an early miscarriage without a positive pregnancy test. However, usually the period would be heavier than normal. A lighter than normal period would most likely be related to a hormonal imbalance. Hormonal birth control can regulate the cycle and might be a good option if there is not a desire to become pregnant. Visit a gyn or women's health clinic.
