Hi. my period was late by a week then when it eventually came, it was painful than usual and i noticed some greyish tissue. its not heavy though, i just wanted to know if this is normal or it could have a possible miscarriage as we are trying ?

Pregnancy ?'s: If your period was "late by a week", it is not generally enough time for tissue to be part of an early miscarriage, but it is possible. Miscarriage is most common with first pregnancies, but are frequently not detected except with positive HCG testing when done early. Ask your gyn when possible about a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) to make certain your tubes are open.
